GiacoBean Coffee & Antoinette's Patisserie accolades:
Westchester Magazine's "Westchester's Best Off-the-Beaten Path Coffee" 2016"Beham steeps his cold brew anywhere between 12 to 18 hours and then filters out the grinds. And one of the best things about this product is that if you love it as much as his regular customers do, you can take it home. Antoinette’s sells growlers for $24, or you can bring your own growler from home and fill it for $17, similar to at beer breweries. Beham claims a newly filled growler can last up to a month in the fridge."
Westchester Magazine’s Best of Westchester “Best Chocolate Croissants” 2011“Yes, they’re messy but who cares? The fact that these chocolate croissants are so crumbly and flaky is what puts them at the top of our list. These buttery creations are like a taste of the Left Bank. Add a warm cup of the pâtisserie’s famous GiacoBean café au lait and you’ll be ooh-la-laing the rest of the day.”
Westchester Magazine’s Best of Westchester “Best Non-Chain Coffee” 2007“If you’re tired of ordering your tall, skim, double-shot, iced caramel macchiato every morning (heck, we’re tired just writing it), then it’s time to leave the franchise-fueled blend behind. We love how this family-owned, petite patisserie looks more like it belongs in the south of France than in the south of Westchester, with small round tables, pastry-filled counters, and the enveloping smell of espresso. Using organic Fair Trade coffee, the house blend is full bodied and full flavored. And, if you’re feeling nostalgic for the, ahem, other place, they’ll be happy to add a shot of vanilla or caramel to your cup.”

Press coverage:
"Blending, brewing and branding could be the mantra here where Owner Kusmanto Beham has created an in-house brand called GiacoBean coffee. All is roasted in small batches, and tasted and tended with care. 'Having a 'cafe minded' brand allows us to personalize coffee flavors even more,' he said." —Daily Voice DVlicious March 2016: Antoinette's In Hastings Features a Brand Within a Brand
“A tiny gem hidden away in a residential neighborhood, Antoinette’s has a hipsterish Euro vibe. Enjoy a creamy cappuccino and a sweet treat, like a flaky chocolate croissant.” —Westchester Magazine February 2016: Let's Have A Drink
"This cozy French cafe has been lauded for its local branded coffee line 'GiacoBean,' which supplies many area restaurants and eateries. With its cold brew, it uses five pounds of coarsely ground coffee and brews it in lieu of hot water; then lets the concentrate sit for a 15 to 20 hour period, and then filters for clarity. The result is a deep, rich taste with a third of the acidity. Pair with a pastry for a taste of morning heaven." —Daily Voice July 2015: Antoinette's Patisserie In Hastings Brews Up Cold Summer Quenchers
“Antoinette's Patisserie is an adorable Euro-indie place with an especially friendly vibe that won Best of Westchester (2011) for their chocolate croissant. But the plain croissant with ham and cheese, served warm with Dijon mustard, is also reason to throw your calorie-counting ways to the wind. Have it with GiacoBean coffee made in Hastings—there’s even a Warburton blend, named after the street.” —Westchester Magazine February 2015: These County Croissants Are The Cream Of The Crop
“There’s not a Starbucks to be found in Hastings (nor any other chain, hurrah!), so what’s a javahead to do? That’s easy—go to Antoinette’s Patisserie, a cozy breakfast and lunch coffeehouse serving its own small-batch-roasted GiacoBean coffee (roasted in a nearby Yonkers facility) plus house-made muffins (banana chocolate almond, cranberry orange), blueberry waffles, and a killer chocolate croissant.” —Westchester Magazine January 2015: 34—Count ‘Em—Hidden Gems Of Westchester County
"This cute little French-inspired eatery may have you sitting elbow to elbow with its hipster crowd, but the ham, egg, and cheese croissant is certainly worth wearing a little flannel. Spread a little grainy mustard on the buttery croissant for a tangy kick." —Westchester Magazine February 2014: 13 Breakfasts Westchester Residents Should Not Miss Out On
“Strong, bold coffee, roasted in-house, brings legions of fans to Antoinette’s Patisserie…” —Westchester Magazine October 2013: Great, Independent Coffeehouses in Westchester That You Should Try
"Serene, compact and a magnet for editorial and design types, with a farmers’ market in summer and its own organic, fair-trade GiacoBean Coffee brand, roasted at Antoinette’s Patisserie." —New York Times February 2013: Brooklyn Exits
“The boules from Antoinette’s Patisserie (417 Warbuton Ave, Hastings 914-478 7200) may not make it home in one piece. The crusty exterior and tender inside—in whole grain and multi-grain—beckon you to tear them apart almost from the get-go. The patisserie offers the discerning palate a variety of gourmet options including melt-in-your-mouth chocolate croissants and one of the best lattes around.” —Westchester Magazine November 2010: In Pursuit of the Perfect Loaf
“An original line of fresh-roasted coffees, GiacoBean, is available at Antoinette’s Patisserie (417 Warburton Ave, Hastings-on-Hudson 914-478-7200). Kusmanto Beham, the son of the patisserie’s owners, created the line after traveling to Central America, India, and Southern Asia to find the best beans. Beham roasts his beans twice a week; they are directly sourced from farms. His more popular flavors include da’ House Stylee, a full-bodied blend of Latin American varietals roasted medium dark ($12/lb) and Express-O ($14/lb). Cupping classes will be offered soon. His coffee also is offered at The Cookery in Dobbs Ferry and the Tarrytown Music Hall.” —Westchester Magazine May 2010: Full of Beans
