The story behind Burundi Single Origin:

This Single Origin medium roast coffee hails from the country of Burundi, in East Africa. It is conscientiously sourced, harvested similarly to coffee from neighboring Rwanda, and wet-processed like the coffees of Kenya. Roasted by GiacoBean in Yonkers, N.Y.

Full of fruit flavors like our Kenya, this Burundi Single Origin is slightly acidic with a striking earthen flavor and a mild mouthfeel. It contains hints of berries and honey, and a molasses body. It finishes with a full caramel flavor and makes for a juicy, refreshing cup. The GiacoBean roasting process has balanced out its kinks, creating a cup of joe that makes you feel connected to the coffee and to the earth.
